I'm looking for a Maintenance Engineer, to join a UK wide growing business that are looking to add some experience to their team. You will play a vital part within the engineering department, and this role has high stability as the business has just had investment from another major group.
This role is perfect for someone who is looking to get off shift, nights and have a more stable structured lifestyle. This role is days only.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing production machinery, minimizing downtime, and ensuring high safety and efficiency standards.
What You’ll Do:
Breakdown response – Diagnose and fix electrical & mechanical faults quickly
Fault finding – Work on control panels, basic fault-finding, and electrical systems
Machinery maintenance – Strip down and rebuild machines, including conveyors, gearboxes, and bearings
Preventative maintenance – Keep equipment running smoothly to reduce breakdowns
Safety & compliance – Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with industry regulations
What You’ll Need:
Electrical & mechanical experience – Working with motors, drives, sensors, and pneumatics
Fault-finding skills – Strong problem-solving ability on automated machinery
Experience with control panels
Hands-on engineering skills – Ability to strip and rebuild production equipment
Relevant qualifications – NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
