Maintenance Engineer – Food Manufacturing industry
Hereford
< £46,000 pa +, Negotiable on experience, plus Benefits
12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights (average 3.5 days per week)
Responsibilities:
* Effective preventative maintenance and efficient response (PPM & RM), resolving plant issues and equipment breakdowns to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum
* Problem solving, fast-paced decision making, & root-cause analysis (RCA), optimising machinery output and product quality
* Participating in plant Continuous Improvements (CI), modifications, and capital investment projects to develop and enhance maintenance systems and procedures (E/M Installation, PLCs, conveyors, etc.)
* Maintaining a safe, healthy, and hygienic environment
* Providing coaching and guidance to other engineers, operators and technicians
Requirements:
* Qualified Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineer [ BTEC / NVQ Level 3 (minimum) / Time-Served Apprenticeship or HNC (L4) / HND (L5) ] – single or multi-skilled
* IET 17th/18th Edition Wiring (preferred)
