Maintenance Engineer
£35,000 - £45,000 + £2,000 Bonus
Location: Bradford
I am seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading organization in the packaging industry. This role offers a competitive salary reflecting experience, along with a bonus structure, generous holiday entitlement, and a pension plan.
Salary & Benefits:
Up to £45,000
£2,000 annual bonus
23 days holiday plus bank holidays
3% pension scheme
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday
Early Shift: 05:45 am - 14:15 pm
Late Shift: 13:45 pm - 22:15 pm
40 hours per week with rotating early and late shifts
Rarely any weekend work
Role Overview:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of packaging machinery. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting and resolving electrical and mechanical issues with packaging equipment.
Performing routine maintenance and servicing on various machinery.
Conducting fault finding on electrical systems, including HMIs and control panels.
Supporting commissioning of new machinery and conducting breakdown repairs.
Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics.
Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems as required.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in all maintenance activities.
Essential Requirements:
Strong multi skilled engineer with a electrical preference.
Previous experience in the packaging industry or similar machinery is highly desirable.
Ability to work effectively with large machinery and complex systems.
Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
