Machinist
Location: Cheddar
Salary: £15 p/h+ Overtime & oncall allowance
We're looking for an experienced Machinist to join our team! If you have a passion for precision and have experience with CNC, lathes, milling machines, and more, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain CNC machines, lathes, and milling machines.
Interpret technical drawings and ensure work meets specifications.
Use precision tools to measure and inspect components.
Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs.
Work on batch or custom single-item projects as needed.
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a machinist with knowledge of CNC, lathes, and grinders.
Ability to read blueprints and use precision tools (e.g., calipers).
Experience with ferrous, non-ferrous metals, plastics, and copper.
Welding and balancing experience is a plus.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Basic computer skills (MS Office).
