Job Description
A well-established family owned company are looking for a Manual Machinist to join their team in Sheffield.. The role will involve setting and operating a traditional manual lathe machine in a production environment.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
Significant experience working on manual turning
Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings
Proficiency in using equipment for precision measurements.
Fanuc CNC experience is advantageous
Ability to set and operate machinery
Experience with bench and hand fitting operations
Competent completing one off bespoke products
Previous experience working bespoke production environment
Able to work using own initiative
Self-inspection experience
Package Offered:
Permanent position
Perment Days
Pay is dependent on experience
Day shift: 8.00am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am till 4.00pmon a Friday
Overtime available paid at a premium
