Job Description

First Achieve's Engineering Division are seeking a Machinist for their client based in Aberdeen who specialises in inspection, maintenance and repair of drilling products. The machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Manual/CNC Machines such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drilling machines to produce precision metal parts. This role requires interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to ensure the parts meet the required dimensions and tolerances. £16-17/hr, Dayshift. The Role: Set up and operate a variety of Manual/CNC Machines to produce precision parts. Select appropriate cutting tools, attachments, and accessories for each operation. Read and interpret engineering drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate machining operations.Experience: 5yrs experience within Machining. Programming experience (Fanuc). Ability to work on your own initiative and part of a team. Happy working shift rotations
