Our client based in the Normanton area, have an immediate requirement to recruit 2 well versed Machine Operators to join their team.
Duties Include:
* Operate the appropriate machinery to produce products of the required quality and within customers’ specifications.
* Constantly monitor output to ensure that it is of the standard required, rejecting any that does not meet the standards.
* Take appropriate corrective action to rectify problems as they may occur.
* Make any necessary adjustments to machinery to ensure that the required product quality is maintained.
* Ensure any adjustments made are recorded and documented within the SPC procedures.
* Ensure all relevant information is accurately input into the company’s business system for shop floor data collection purposes.
* Carry out the required QA testing to ensure the product meets customers’ requirements and strict specifications and accurately record results.
* Ensure the operation of the machinery remains within minimum waste, and quality rejects.
* Assist in the general preventative maintenance of the machine including cleaning of heads etc.
Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of machine operation working to high quality standards.
This is a permanent role where you will be expected to work the following shift pattern:
Week 1 - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday DAYS ( 6am - 6pm )
Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday NIGHTS (6pm - 6am )
Week 3 - Monday & Tuesday DAYS, Wednesday OFF, Thursday and Friday Nights
In return you can expect a starting salary of £26500k rising £28111 after the completion of a 6 month probation. After training on all machines, salary can rise to £30316
