Job Description

Crem Recruitment has been appointed to recruit a night shift machine operator for a key manufacturing business in Newmarket. This is a rare opportunity to join an established manufacturer who are market leaders in their field, as the look to strengthen the workforce on the Night shift. Duties: * Hands-on Machine Operation and Line Production. * Interpret technical drawings and blueprints. * Responsible for ensuring high standards of Quality Control. * Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety in the work area. * Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors (team of c. 15). Person Specification: * Experience working night shifts is desirable. * Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, especially operating production machinery. * Physically fit. * Demonstrable strong attention to detail with a focus on quality. * Able to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. Hours & Pay: * Monday to Thursday. 4-day Working pattern. * Full-time 6:00pm – 6:00am. * C. £13 - £14 per hour + night shift premium (£3.25). * Overtime when available at 1.5x. * Successful candidates will start with 2 weeks dayshifts for training then progress into normal working hours.
