Job Description
We’re hiring for a Machine Operator to join a precision engineering company in Glossop, working with high-quality components for demanding industries.
This role will see you playing a key part in the manufacturing process, ensuring all parts meet the required specifications through expert grinding techniques.
What’s on offer?
* £14.14 per hour
* Monday – Thursday 1:15pm – 11:30pm
* Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate)
* Pension contribution scheme
* Death in service scheme (x4 months salary)

What will you be doing as a Machine Operator?
* Operating precision grinding machinery to achieve required specifications
* Performing finishing and deburring work to ensure high-quality standards
* Inspecting components and making necessary adjustments
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area
* Adhering to all health & safety regulations in a fast-paced production environment
What do you need?
* Previous experience in grinding, polishing, or finishing metal components
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
* Ability to read technical drawings (desirable)
* Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
