Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Packaging Company in their search for a Machine Operative to work in their leading facility in Leicester.
For the successful Machine Operative, our client is offering:
Starting salary of £28,955.52 per annum
Monday to Friday 8am - 3.30pm with a potential to move to double days in the future 6am-1:30pm / 1:30pm - 21:00pm
Permanent contract
Fantastic working conditions

Uniform and PPE provided
Overtime at x1.5 (£22.18 per hour)
The role – Machine Operative:
Basic machine operation duties
Packing glued cartons into corrugated outer cases and apply labels
Moving pallets of unglued cartons onto line
Moving pallets of glued cartons into Despatch department
Correctly complete paperwork
General housekeeping of the machines and department
Liaise with the quality department where required
Other duties as instructed by the lead operator
What our client is looking for in a Machine Operative:
Previous experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment - ESSENTIAL
Previous experience working with manufacturing machinery - ESSENTIAL
Experience working within Print, Packaging, Food or Pharmaceuticals - HIGHLY BENEFICIAL
IT Literacy - ESSENTIAL
Ability to work flexibly as part of a team
Ability to maintain hygiene and procedural standards required in our industry
