Position: M&E Construction Contractor Responsible Engineer
Location: Chesterfield (UK-wide travel required)
Salary: £40,000 (negotiable based on experience)
Are you an experienced engineer with a strong background in the rail sector and expertise in both mechanical and electrical engineering? Total Rail and Construction are seeking a dedicated M&E Construction Contractor Responsible Engineer to join our team and oversee key rail projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the technical aspects of rail projects, ensuring effective design, execution, and quality control.
* Oversee both mechanical and electrical engineering components of M&E rail projects.
* Ensure compliance with rail-specific standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
* Provide expert guidance on technical issues, ensuring rail projects are delivered on time and within specification.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
* Travel across the UK as required to support various rail projects.
Requirements:
* Strong background in the rail industry with proven experience in mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering.
* In-depth knowledge of rail regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
* Ability to manage complex rail projects from inception to completion.
* Excellent technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
* Full UK driving licence (travel required).
