Locum Pharmacy Technician required ASAP in Berkshire – Band 5 - MMT - Inpatients
Location: Berkshire, NHS Hospital
Role: Locum Pharmacy Technician – Medicines Management (Ward Cover)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join a busy NHS hospital in Berkshire, focusing on medicines management for inpatient wards. This is an ongoing role with funding secured through to April 2025, to support winter pressures.
ASAP start (January 2025). Role will be ongoing until end of April 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide medicines management and pharmacy support on the wards
Ensure accurate medication dispensing and advice for inpatient care
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support patient care
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (30 mins lunch). 37.5 hours per week.
Requirements:
Must have hospital ward experience as this is essential for the role
Band 5 level only – Band 6 candidates will not be considered
Pay:
£18 - £21 per hour via Umbrella
