Location: Kent, NHS Hospital
Contract: Ongoing, Flexible (3/4/5 days per week)
Hourly Rate: £33 - £36 per hour (Band 8A)

About the Role:
Hunter AHP are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Locum Oncology Pharmacist to join a well-respected NHS hospital in Kent. This ongoing contract offers flexible working options (3, 4, or 5 days per week), and the ideal candidate will have a high level of clinical oncology pharmacy experience to support the delivery of expert care for oncology patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert clinical pharmacy services to oncology patients across various wards.
Review and monitor the use of chemotherapy, biological therapies, and supportive medications.
Work closely with the oncology multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective treatment plans.
Participate in chemotherapy prescribing, dispensing, and medication counselling.
Conduct clinical ward rounds and medication reviews for oncology patients, ensuring safe and optimal medication use.
Advise on appropriate drug therapies, interactions, and side effects management.
Requirements:
Previous oncology pharmacy experience is essential, with a strong clinical background in oncology settings.
GPhC registration.
High level of expertise and clinical judgment in oncology pharmacology.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Flexibility to work 3, 4, or 5 days per week, with an ongoing commitment.
What We Offer:
Competitive Band 8A hourly rate, between £33 and £36 per hour, depending on experience.
Flexible working options (3, 4, or 5 days per week).
Ongoing contract with the potential for extension.
