Level 5 Dyslexia Tutor - Independent School, Kensington (Part-Time)
An esteemed independent school in Kensington is seeking a qualified Level 5 Dyslexia Tutor to provide specialist support to a Year 3 pupil twice a week. This is a part-time opportunity within a nurturing and well-resourced environment, starting as soon as possible.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will:
Provide individualised, evidence-based interventions tailored to the needs of a Year 3 pupil with dyslexia.
Use multisensory teaching strategies to enhance literacy skills, build confidence, and foster a love for learning.
Monitor progress, adapt lesson plans as needed, and provide regular feedback to parents and school staff.
Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff to support the pupil's overall development.
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds a Level 5 or higher qualification in Dyslexia/Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD).
Has experience working with primary-aged students, ideally within an independent school setting.
Is passionate about inclusive education and committed to helping students reach their full potential.
Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills.
Position Details:
Location: Independent school in Kensington
Commitment: Twice a week (flexible scheduling available)
