Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Watford, Greater London
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £42k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a industry leader within Water Hygiene / Legionella company. They are seeking a reliable Legionella Risk Assessor to cover client sites across the South East / Home Counties. The company can offer great training opportunities to candidates, as such, they can consider candidates of varying experience and can support individuals to grow their skillset. It would be preferred that candidates also have experience with some water hygiene duties, such as: showerhead descales, TMV servicing and basic outlet flushing. Salaries are competitive and benefits include: overtime opportunities and company pension scheme.
The role will involve travel across: Watford, Wembley, Enfield, Ilford, Harlow, Bishop's Stortford, Slough, Southall, Reading, Luton, Hounslow, Bracknell, Camberley, Woking, Kingston upon Thames, Croydon, Epsom, Bromley, Dartford, Gravesend, Romford, Grays, Sidcup, Basildon, Billericay, Rainham, Tilbury, Orpington, Caterham, Redhill, Sevenoaks, Aylesford.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have experience undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold systems
- It is required to hold the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
- It would support applications to have plumbing / remedial knowledge and qualifications, but this is not essential
- Fully conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Good literacy and IT skills
- Hardworking attitude
The Role:
- Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold systems across a range of commercial, local authority and public sector client sites
- Producing bespoke reports to identify risks on client sites as well as make recommendations for remedial works
- Water sampling and temperature monitoring
- Discussing report findings directly with clients and providing thorough technical advice
- Completing some ad-hoc water hygiene duties when required
- Travelling to client sites, ensuring to be on time and represent the company in a professional manner
