Lecturer – Construction – Carpentry and Multi Skills:
Smile Education is collaborating with a prominent college in Solihull who are welcoming a talent construction lecturer starting from February. This college are offer a long term or permenant contract. If you’re ready to inspire young minds and make a positive impact in the college, we encourage you to get in touch.
As a construction lecturer, the role will consist of planning and delivering captivating lessons to students in line with the curriculum along with adapting teaching methods to cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students. You will focus on creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that helps student engagement and critical thinking. The right candidate will need to assess and evaluate student progress, offer constructive feedback and nurturing a love for learning will be central to your role. You will join a staff body who are fun, dedicated, hardworking and professional, who will work together to support you in reaching your potential.
The successful candidate must have:
Level 2 qualification in carpentry
Level 5 teaching qualification (or prepared to work towards)
Level 3 Assessor Aware (or equivelant)
Level 2 qualification in Maths and English
Level 4 Verifier Award (or equivalent) - This is a nice to have/not necessary
