Learning Support Assistant Salary: £417–£425 per week Location: Shirley Start Date: February 2025 Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs and making a real difference in their lives? ABC Teachers is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a highly regarded special needs school in Hall Green About the Role: Provide 1:1 support to students with additional needs, helping them thrive in a classroom environment. Adapt teaching approaches to meet the unique needs of each student, creating a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere. Collaborate with the class teacher to assist with lesson preparation, resource development, and classroom management. This is a full-time, ongoing position starting in January 2025. Offers a supportive and forward-thinking environment where staff and students thrive. What We're Looking For: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to adapt to varying student needs. Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, empathetic approach. Proven experience in a SEND environment is essential. A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential. Ability to provide suitable references and pass a DBS check. *All staff undergo thorough interviews and referencing checks and must hold, or be willing to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service.
