Expectations of a Learning Support Assistant:
You will be expected to assist the Teacher in the delivery of successful lessons, helping with classroom management and ensuring the lessons are delivered as efficiently as possible. You also need to be comfortable with pupils on a 1 to 1 basis and be confident handling small groups by yourself.
Holding an enhanced DBS and being registered to the EWC is also essential to work in Schools in Blaenau Gwent.
