Job Description
Empower Students to Thrive
We’re working with a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Uxbridge that is looking for a Learning Mentor to support student engagement, attendance, and well-being. The successful candidate will work closely with students who may be facing challenges in their learning or personal life, helping them to overcome barriers and succeed.
The Role
*
Build strong relationships with students to support behaviour, attendance, and emotional well-being
*
Deliver targeted mentoring sessions, both one-to-one and in small groups
*
Work closely with the pastoral team, SENCO, and teaching staff to monitor progress and coordinate support
*
Support students in building resilience, confidence, and academic motivation
Requirements
*
Experience working with young people in an educational or support capacity
*
Excellent interpersonal skills and a calm, supportive approach
*
Ability to remain positive and solution-focused when dealing with challenges
*
A background in youth work, education, or counselling is desirableBefore You Apply
