Job Description
Jackson Consults are working with a leading MEP Building Services Contractor of innovative building services solutions, specialising in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) design and coordination. Our clients projects span a diverse range of sectors, including commercial, residential, Data Centre and industrial developments. The pride themselves on delivering high-quality, efficient, and sustainable solutions to the construction industry.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead RevitMEP Coordinator to join their dynamic team. This role will be pivotal in leading their Revit MEP coordination efforts, ensuring seamless integration of building services within their projects.
You will work closely with engineers, project delivery teams, and contractors to produce detailed, clash-free, and fully coordinated MEP models.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage MEP coordination activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
* Develop and maintain RevitMEP models, incorporating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
* Conduct clash detection and resolution using Navisworks or similar tools.
* Ensure compliance with BIM Level 2 standards and other relevant regulations.
* Participate in design and coordination meetings, providing technical input.
* Prepare accurate and detailed drawings, schedules, and documentation.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar RevitMEP Coordinator role within the building services industry.
* Proficiency in RevitMEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks for clash detection.
* Strong understanding of MEP services and their integration within building structures.
* Familiarity with BIM Level 2 standards and industry best practices.
* Ability to lead coordination meetings and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
* Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to design challenges.
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
