Job Description
Constructive moves are recruiting for a Layout Designer to join a national housing developer that build traditional housing developments across East Anglia.
Due to the busy nature of the Technical Department this role would ideally suit a Layout Designer with proven experience of working on housing developments.
This role will support the technical/design team to provide a cost effective design/layout service for the region, so AutoCAD skills are essential and some Photoshop and Sketch-up experience would be beneficial as well as the ability to perform hand sketches for feasibility studies.
Duties will/may include:
Production of sketch and AutoCAD layouts for prospective sites efficiently and accurately.
Preparing residential planning layouts with accompanying design statements for submission to the local Authority with accuracy so to maintain the company view whilst accommodating the site constraints.
Supporting the planning application packs with planning authorities, design and access statements working cohesively to maintain a high standard of work and successful planning consents.The role is offering a market competitive salary and there is also a benefits package which includes a Company Car/Car Allowance, Contributory Pension, Life Cover and Annual Bonus
