Lathe Machine Operator
Permanent Position
A prestigious, well established manufacturing company is looking for someone to join their engineering team, with manual lathe experience.
Working as part of a small engineering team
£13 to £14 per hour - weekly pay - 38 hours per week plus overtime available
Days Monday to Friday - with an early finish on a Friday
Based in the Cannock area
Bright. clean working environment - a site tour is recommended
Excellent opportunity for the right candidate
Experience required for a Lathe Machine Operator
Manual Lathe Machine Operator - time served or through college, apprenticeship or University
Ability to read engineering drawings and follow instructions
Milling and Turning
Surface grinding
CNC Operating
Use measuring equipment - verniers or micrometres
Working with a variety of metals Duties of a Lathe Machine Operator
Working as part of team, making small engineering parts
Main part of the role will be using a manual lathe and reading drawings to help you build the tools
