Job Description

Permanent Position Competitive Salary DOE Permanent Late Shift – 1-10 (Mon to Thurs), 1-5 Fridays Flexible Holiday Entitlement Free Onsite Parking   I am currently working with an engineering business based in Grays, Essex who are a sub-contract sheet metal working company.  Due to growth and an influx of work, they now have a requirement for a Laser & Press Brake Setter/Operator to join their existing team on the shop floor.   Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Laser & Press Brake Setter/Operator will be using Trumpf and Bodor Lasers and Bystronic press brakes of 80T and 160T; ; however, if you have knowledge or experience of other lasers or press brake machines cross-training can be given.    The ideal candidate for the Laser & Press Brake Setter/Operator role will have:   A good knowledge of laser setting and press brake machines. The ability to read engineering drawings. Gained previous experience in a similar role. Good communication skills. In return the Laser & Press Brake Setter/Operator can expect to receive a competitive salary, shift allowance, 33 days flexible holiday entitlement and free onsite parking.  The working hours for this role will be 1pm – 10pm Monday to Thursday, 1pm – 5pm on Fridays with 30 minute breaks, however, a degree of flexibility will be expected if there is the requirement to cover other shifts.   If you feel that you have the skills and/or experience for the Laser & Press Brake Setter/Operator role, please send your CV in the first instance.   Sirius Recruitment are acting as a recruitment agency in the recruitment of the Laser & Press Brake Setter/Operator position
