We are currently supporting a mainstream primary school in Tower Hamlets that is seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher. The role focuses on the core subjects covered in both Lower and Upper Key Stage 2, ensuring students receive a strong academic foundation as they prepare for the next stage of their education.
As a KS2 Teacher, you will inspire and challenge students across the core subjects (English, Maths, Science), fostering their academic, social, and emotional growth in a nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the core subjects, tailored to meet the needs of Lower and Upper KS2 students.
Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports all students' academic progress, social development, and emotional well-being.
Assess and track student progress, providing targeted support and differentiation to meet individual learning needs.
Collaborate closely with colleagues, including teaching assistants and the SENCO, to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning experience.
Create and implement lesson plans that align with the National Curriculum while engaging students with diverse learning styles.Experience:
Previous experience teaching KS2 students in a primary school setting is essential. A strong understanding of the core subjects and their progression through Lower and Upper Key Stage 2 is highly desirable.
