Job Description

Role: Kitchen Handling Team – Driver & Mate Job Description As part of a two-person team, you’ll be responsible for moving pre-delivered kitchen components to designated kitchen rooms on sites. Each team consists of one Driver and one Mate who work together to transport and safely place kitchen parts. Key Details Pay: Driver: £110 per day + £0.45 per mile (mileage paid by the client). Mate: £100 per day  Daily Structure: Kitchen units will arrive on pallets by the client’s lorry driver. You will not be responsible for delivery by lorry but will manage the movement of kitchen units on-site. A site forklift driver will unload the lorry and deliver the pallets to a designated area. You will be responsible for moving the kitchen components from the drop-off point to the kitchen rooms. Full day’s pay is guaranteed, regardless of whether you handle one load or multiple loads in a day. Location Surrey (Must be within 10 miles) Vehicle Must have own Car. Requirements Driver Requirements: Valid driver’s license, CSCS Card, punctuality, and adherence to safety. Mate Requirements: CSCS Card, Physical fitness for moving kitchen parts, reliability, and teamwork skills. General Requirements: Ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage variable daily workloads, and follow on-site safety protocols
