Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Kitchen Assistant for our client in Nottingham and surrounding areas.
The successful Kitchen Assistant will work across multiple school locations throughout the borough.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* The successful kitchen assistant will need to be flexible, well organised and have the ability to communicate with staff and pupils at all levels.
* Undertake basic food preparation of vegetables, snacks, salads, fruit and beverages.
* Basic preparation of food and simple cooking
* Serving meals to staff and students, following staff / student food requests/requirements
* Preparing the dining room ready for lunchtime
* Cleaning of the kitchen and equipment to a high standard, including using various types of equipment / products in a safe way
* Ensure compliance with the food hygiene and health and safety regulations at all Times
Working Hours: 11:00am – 14:00pm ,10:45am – 14:00pm , 10:30am - 13:45pm
Requirements:
* Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
* Enhanced DBS
