The Sherwood Ranger is a friendly, community-focused pub in the heart of Carlton in Lindrick. Known for our welcoming atmosphere, great food, and quality drinks, we take pride in serving delicious, freshly prepared pub classics. We’re looking for a hardworking Kitchen Assistant to support our chef and keep our kitchen running smoothly.
Your Role:
* Assisting with food preparation.
* Keeping the kitchen clean and organised, including washing dishes and equipment.
* Ensuring hygiene and health & safety standards are met.
* Helping with stock rotation and deliveries.
* Supporting the kitchen team with general tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For:
* Must be able to work evenings & weekends
* A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
* Good teamwork and communication skills.
* Some kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential – training will be provided.
