The responsibilities of a Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher include: Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students in Key Stage 2. Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a high standard of teaching across the year group. Leading a specific area of the curriculum and taking on clearly defined responsibilities. Maintaining a positive learning environment and promoting excellent behaviour standards both inside and outside the classroom. Working closely with teaching assistants to support student learning and progress.The successful Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher must have: QTS/PGCE qualification or equivalent. A degree in Primary Education (BA Hons/QTS) or a PGCE (Primary QTS). Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2 with a strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment. A passion for teaching and nurturing young minds to reach their full potential. Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
