Primary Teacher
Start date: April 2025

A lovely Primary school in Longbridge is seeking to appoint a Year 2 Teacher from the Summer Term 2025, on a full-time basis. This is a Maternity Cover post and will be ongoing to the end of the academic year.
This is a fantastic, 2-form entry school, rated "Good" in their most recent Ofsted report. Having worked alongside this school for several years to support their staffing needs, they have an incredibly supportive community and staff team who are warm, friendly and helpful. Their key vision is to provide children with a safe and creative environment where they can have the confidence to be themselves.
The successful Teacher will be covering a delightful Year 2 class, who will be at a crucial stage in their learning. It is an ideal role for a Primary Teacher with experience working in KS1, who has a thorough understanding of the learning outcomes required in the National Curriculum for this year group. You must be committed, flexible and most importantly, an excellent team player.
Applicants need to have:
Qualified Teacher Status (ECTs encouraged to apply)
Experience working in KS1
High expectations of children’s achievement and progress
A creative, innovative approach to teaching
A real desire to make a positive difference to children
