Key Account Manager
Field Sales position with very occasional trips to head office for meetings
Area covered: South West England. e.g. Somerset, Bristol, Exeter - you can live anywhere in and around these locations.
Salary: up to £43,000 base plus bonus structure + excellent benefits, 33 days holiday, healthcare, pension, discounts etc.

An established foodservice wholesaler supplying food products to the foodservice and catering industry; including local authorities, NHS trusts, defence contractors, hotel and restaurant chains as well as many independent operators in the hospitality industry.
What does the job entail?
The Key Account Manager is responsible for developing business across specialist sectors, including healthcare, education, pubs, hotels, hospitality and leisure. Aligned with the national accounts division, the role involves:
Identifying new opportunities and securing new business wins
Recognising category gaps within existing customers and implementing new strategies
Using strong buying and negotiation skills to convert customers
Delivering value-added initiatives and tailored solutions to meet diverse customer needsCandidate Profile
Experience in a similar role within the food industry would be ideal
Determination, resilience and a genuine passion for food
The ability to engage with hard-to-reach decision-makers
A flexible, results-driven approach
Drive, motivation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
