Job Description

Junior Test Support Engineer Fulltime -Up to £30,000 DOE - Cheltenham -37.5 hours weekly. An exciting opportunity has become available for Junior Engineer with technical customer support OR testing experience. The JuniorTest Support Engineer will be customer focussed and responsible for efficient testing facilities, procedures and supporting projects. The role: Technical Customer Support, liaising with customers and conducting testing Work collaboratively with inter group projects, and with the Project Engineers on NPI & CPI testing to required standard. Documentation entered onto CRM consistently. Takes ownership of the continuous improvement and development of the testing facility Provide audit test support and support on project product resourcing. Support the development of test plans and procedures for hardware products Coordinate external certification and accreditation of products Ensure adherence tocompany Health & Safety requirements and housekeeping standards. The Person: One year experience in technical customer support OR testing related role- proactive, not reactive. Would suit aninquisitive, investigative type. Exposure/Experience of PLM system- Team Centre Desirable Exposure/Experience of ERP/MRP System -Microsoft AX Desirable Competent MS Office -Excel, PowerPoint Great communicator strong planning and organisational skills. Customer focussed, problem solver Hands on engineering skills and competency with power tools CAD Experience. UK Driving Licence. GCSE Maths & English or equivalent.
