Job Description

Junior Service Charge Accountant / Accounts Assistant – Birmingham - £25-35k+ Benefits We’re working with one of the largest property management companies in the UK. With an extensive portfolio comprising mostly developer and freehold estates, they are now looking to strengthen their centralised Service Charge Accounts team with an additional, entry level hire as follows: * Working Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm from a Birmingham office base (with some hybrid working once settled) * Supporting the senior team with budgeting, reconciliation, and reporting to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with regulations. * Assisting in preparing and maintaining service charge cost estimates * Managing a portfolio of service charge accounts ensuring accuracy and compliance. * Preparing and reviewing financial statements for homeowners * Delivering to department metrics & supporting wider team Suitable Junior Service Charge Accountant / Accounts Assistant Applicants will have: * Basic knowledge of accounting principles. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel; accounting software knowledge is a plus. * Good communication skills, both written and verbal. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong organisational and time management skills.
