Job Description

My client is a progressive Building Contractor who are currently working on numerous Projects across Dublin including nursing homes, schools and office developments. Due to the increase in workload, they have a vacancy for a Junior Estimator to join their team and work from their head office in North County Dublin Duties: * Preparing and collating tenders by a given deadline based on the scope of work, plans, specification, BOQ’s, schedules and inspections * Generating Subcontractor and Supplier packages * Sending out and following up tender enquiries * Receiving, checking, and filing tender quotations * Creating, updating, and maintaining tender register, supply chain lists and rate/price library Requirements: * Relevant Degree in Quantity Surveying * 1-2 years of main contractors’ experience within the Irish Construction Industry * Good understanding of the Irish Construction Industry * Excellent written & verbal communication skills * Proficient in Excel & Word
