Junior Chef – Southampton – £27,000
We are a recruting for a trainee chef based in Southampton, dedicated to delivering exceptional food and service. We pride ourselves on fresh ingredients, creative dishes, and a dynamic kitchen environment.
The Role:
We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Chef to join our kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious chef to develop their skills, work with top-quality ingredients, and grow within a professional kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of senior chefs
* Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
* Ensure hygiene and food safety regulations are followed at all times
* Help with stock management and ingredient preparation
* Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
What We’re Looking For:
* Some experience in a kitchen environment (Commis Chef, Line Cook, or similar)
* A passion for food and a willingness to learn
* Good teamwork and communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and take direction from senior chefs
* Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
