The Role As a Junior Accountant, you will gain hands-on experience across a variety of accounting services, working closely with experienced professionals who are committed to your development. Key Responsibilities include: ✔️ Preparing and assisting with financial statements and management accounts. ✔️ Supporting VAT returns, payroll, and bookkeeping tasks. ✔️ Assisting in the preparation of tax computations and returns. ✔️ Reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate financial records. ✔️ Helping clients with Sage and Xero software queries. ✔️ Providing support to ensure compliance and deadlines are met. About You We’re looking for someone who is: ✅ Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or with equivalent practical experience). ✅ Familiar with Sage and Xero software. ✅ Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive. ✅ A strong communicator with excellent Excel skills. Desirable but not essential: 🎓 Progress towards a professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or ICAS). 📊 Previous experience in an accountancy or finance role (internships or part-time work included).
