Job Description

Role: Junior Accountant Location: Greenford, London  Salary: Up to £45,000 + Bonus  We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join a globally renowned FMCG company, where you will play a vital role in supporting financial reporting and statutory compliance. This position is key to ensuring accuracy in financial data and the timely completion of month-end and year-end closings. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to maintain financial accuracy and integrity. Key Responsibilities: Support the Statutory Supervisor with daily financial tasks, including posting journals and general ledger reconciliation's, ensuring adherence to monthly reporting schedules. Conduct inter-company reconciliation's and collaborate with Shared Services and administrative teams across the Group to resolve discrepancies. Assist in external audit preparation, contributing to smooth interim and annual audit processes. Partner with third-party logistics providers to address stock issues, contributing to efficient inventory management. Support the accurate reporting of leasing contracts and assist with IFRS 16 compliance. Key Requirements: Experience with Hyperion Financial Management, ideally ACCA/CIMA/ACA part-qualified or actively studying. Proficient in SAP and advanced MS Office, with a proactive and collaborative approach. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with effective communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.
