Job Description
Our client who are one of the UK's largest and most successful Surface & Highways Companies are looking for a Junior Account Manager will be based in the companies Derby office. The Junior Account Manager will be rewarded with a Salary up to £30,000 and a comprehensive benefit package.
The Junior Account Manager will benefit from working within a supportive learning environment ensuring your personal development and opportunity to progress, you will be working alongside and support the Sales team, on a range of surfacing projects such as Highways, Retail, Rail, Aviation, Commercial and Defence.
Junior Account Manager Position Overview
Guide client enquiries through the sales process, ensuring smooth progression.
Keep CRM records updated with detailed notes and relevant information.
Add and manage new contacts within projects and organisations in the CRM.
Maintain and update LinkedIn profiles within the CRM system.
Keep key account client hierarchy charts accurate and up to date.
Ensure key personnel details are captured for analysis and marketing purposes.
Assist in creating engaging content and communications for key account clients.
Support the preparation of quality submissions for frameworks and large contract bids.
Monitor industry news and specialist press for new business opportunities.
Research and review client pipelines to identify potential sales opportunities.
Provide administrative and general support to the Sales team as needed.
Junior Account Manager Position Requirements
Previous Sales or Account management experience
Knowledge of the Construction or Civil Engineering sector
Previous use of a CRM system
Knowledge of Quality Submissions would be beneficial
Ability to research trend and market data
Good Admin skills
Organised and happy to be part of a team
Excellent Microsoft office experience
Junior Account Manager Position Remuneration
Salary up to £30k depending on experience
