Job Description

Job Title: Joinery CAD Designer Location: Workshop based – Basingstoke Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Hours per week: 41.5 hours Minimum Requirements: High level competency in Sketch up and Auto CAD. Responsibilities of the Joinery CAD Designer: * Work alongside Cabinetmakers and sub-contractors producing fully resolved CAD drawings. * Oversee the manufacturing, finishing and installation of joinery projects following handover to both internal and subcontracted workshops. * Ensure designs are in line with tender allowances and specifications, to ensure budgeted costs and labour allowances are understood and to identify any risk to these. * Ensure designs, materials and finishes are appropriate, achievable and fit for purpose and to identify any potential risks. * Develop and present design concepts using 2D and 3D drawings packages * Work to client briefs to design kitchen, joinery, and furniture concept packages.
