£25,000 - £37,000
Hours of Work:
Full-time -
8.30am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday
Overview:
Hardman Grey Recruitment is currently seeking a Joiner/Cabinet Maker on behalf of our client, a renowned furniture manufacturer specialising in custom-made furniture and architectural joinery both in the UK and internationally.
The Joiner/ Cabinet Maker will be responsible for:
Using a high level of joinery skills to make furniture
Reading and understanding construction drawings
Operating wood machinery and be qualified to do so
Applying secondary materials such as inlays, metal trims, glass and leather
Selecting, cutting, jointing and pressing using a hydraulic press and bag press
The ideal Joiner / Cabinet Maker candidate will have:
Understanding of design and fine detail
Knowledge of cabinet jointing and assembly using power tool jointers
Knowledge of installing fittings, drawer runners, hinges and architectural ironmongery
Experience with a wide range of timbers, veneers, substrates and manufactured boards
High personal standards for presentation of work
Good communication skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills
