Job Description

Join Our Team as a Full-Time SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team at an excellent Eastleigh School – Pupil Referral Unit. Position: SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Location: Eastleigh School, Pupil Referral Unit Hours: Full-time, 8:00 AM – 3:15 PM, Monday to Friday Salary: Competitive (Dependent on experience) About Us: Eastleigh School provides a nurturing and supportive environment for children who require additional educational support. As part of our Pupil Referral Unit, we work closely with students to help them thrive academically and personally, ensuring they receive the care and guidance they need. Key Responsibilities: * Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEN, helping them engage in learning activities. * Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support specific learning strategies. * Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. * Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to ensure the needs of each student are met. What We’re Looking For: * Experience in working with students with special educational needs is highly desirable. * Patience, empathy, and a commitment to making a difference in students' lives. * Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents. * A proactive attitude, with a passion for helping children succeed.
