Job Description

Avanti Recruitment is currently working with an award-winning digital agency based in Newcastle, that is on the lookout for a Java Fullstack Developer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is an office-based position where you will be required on-site 5 days per week. You will be joining a team of around 40 and will be working with some of the most ambitious clients from around the UK and will be designing and building market-leading web, mobile, and bespoke digital applications for them. You will be working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplined team and will be the type of person who likes to take ownership of the delivery of projects. This role will be a fully hands-on position working across the full SDLC, you will be focused on the backend in Java but will have exposure to the front-end so good experience with Vue.JS/Angular or React is essential. You’ll find yourself joining a collaborative team, that gets involved in tech talks, hack nights, internal workshops, and demonstrations. The company has a strong focus on career progression so should you wish to grow into a Senior then this could be the kind of role for you. Essential Skills: * Java MVC experience * Strong understanding of OOP * Full-stack experience with front-end (Ideally Angular or Vue, experience with JavaScript/ TypeScript/React is fine) * MySQL or similar database experience Desirable: * Vue.JS / Angular experience would be highly beneficial * Hibernate or similar ORM exposure * Play Framework * C# * SASS / LESS Benefits: * Salary up to £42,000 * Pension * Travel Loans * Bike-to-work * Profit bonus share scheme If you are interested in finding out more, then click Apply Now
