Job Description
Copello are looking for an experienced IV&V Systems Engineer to join a dynamic team within the Defence sector who are delivering on current gen and next-gen programmes. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects, ensuring the successful integration, verification, and validation of complex systems to meet operational requirements.
Location - The role requires travel to different sites on a regular basis with the expectation to be in the office 2-3 times per week. Office locations are Cumbria, Bristol, Surrey and Weymouth.
Salary - £45,000 / £48,000 plus package.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and execute IV&V activities across the full systems engineering lifecycle.
* Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and resolve system-level issues.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
* Provide technical expertise in systems integration, verification, and validation processes.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in IV&V within the Defence or Aerospace sectors.
* Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle management.
* Familiarity with industry standards DOORS is advantageous.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Eligibility for security clearance (SC).
