IT TECHNICIAN
Location: Southend on Sea, Essex
Position: Permanent
Salary: Negotiable
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for our client in Southend on Sea as an IT Technician.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Working part of the desktop support team, managing requests logged by users across the business
* Performing routine tasks including re-setting passwords, restoring files, setting up new users
* Help manage local area network for all sites
* Carry out and complete assigned IT project work
* Testing and monitoring of IT resources
* Providing reports on IT service desk calls, assets and backups
The successful IT Technician must have the following related skills / experience:
Essential:
* Experience and knowledge of Active Directory and Office 365
* Windows 10 & 11 operating systems
* Service desk experience 1st / 2nd line support
* Experience creating and writing documentation
* Experience with backup technologies
* Excellent organisational skills
Desirable:
* Good understanding of Microsoft and Mac systems:
* Windows server 2016, 2019 & 2022
* Microsoft Hyper-V platform
* Experience in working in a hybrid Azure AD/Entra ID environment
* Working with and creating PowerShell scripts
* Experience working with regulated ISO environment
