About the Role:
Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled IT Technician to join their dynamic team. This role requires regular travel to various sites, so a valid driving license and access to your own vehicle are essential. IT Technician - Key Responsibilities:
* Provide on-site IT support across multiple company locations.
* Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals.
* Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve them efficiently.
* Support network infrastructure, including diagnosing connectivity issues.
* Ensure all systems are secure and comply with company standards.
* Collaborate with the IT team to implement upgrades and new technologies.
* Document all tasks, processes, and solutions accurately.
IT Technician - Requirements:
* Proven experience in an IT support or technician role.
* Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, and basic networking.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle (essential).
* Willingness to travel frequently and occasionally work outside standard hours.
IT Technician - Desirable Skills:
* Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
* Familiarity with hardware repairs and upgrades.
* Certification in IT-related fields (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft).
* Experience working with a Servicedesk managing calls and escalating
