Job Description

IT Technician (Education) £25,000 - £28,000 Maidstone Do you have at least one year’s IT support experience? Have you worked in schools or the education sector before? Do you have full driving license? If your answer to all of the above is “yes,” read on—this role might be your perfect fit! A fast-growing IT services provider is seeking a Junior IT Technician to support multiple schools across Kent, Surrey, and South London. In this role, you will be the go-to problem-solver for teachers and students, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime in a dynamic learning environment. Key Responsibilities * 1st & 2nd Line Support * Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to keep classrooms running. * Windows AD & Azure AD * Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and domain infrastructures. * Device & MDM Management * Configure iPads, oversee Google Workspace, and work with MDM solutions. * MIS Support * Provide assistance with Management Information Systems such as SIMS, Arbor, or Scholarpack. * System Deployment & Maintenance * Build images, install software, and handle upgrades across multiple sites. * Inventory Management * Keep accurate records of hardware, software, and licenses. Requirements * At least 1 year of IT support experience * Experience in a school or educational environment * Full UK Driving Licence + Car (travel required) * Eligibility to Work in the UK Preferred Skills * Experience with Windows AD and Azure AD * Familiarity with MDM systems, iPads, and Google Workspace * Working knowledge of MIS systems (e.g., SIMS, Arbor, Scholarpack)
