Job Description

KPJ Group is currently recruiting for an IT System Engineer to join an established team within a dynamic IT environment at their site based in Worsley, Manchester. This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional with a strong background in Microsoft Azure and Office 365, looking to take on a critical role in managing, maintaining, and advancing the company’s IT infrastructure. What’s on offer? * £75,000 per year * Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm (early finish on Fridays) * 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays) * 4% pension plan * Death in service (4 x annual salary) * Christmas party * Well-being & employee assistance programme * Healthcare cashback programme What will you be doing as an IT System Engineer? * Managing and monitoring all systems and infrastructure within the Microsoft Azure and Office 365 environments * Installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems, applications, and system management tools * Setting up and troubleshooting routers and switches, ensuring high system availability * Leading crisis management efforts, enhancing security measures, and adhering to Cyber Security protocols * Resolving IT service issues related to Azure, O365, and other company-supported applications * Collaborating with IT teams and departments to resolve complex networking challenges * Designing information and operational support systems and providing 2nd and 3rd level help desk support * Liaising with vendors and handling IT projects as assigned by management What do you need? * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field * At least five years of experience with Microsoft Azure and Office 365 in large-scale environments * Proven skills in troubleshooting complex networking issues, including routing and switching * Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, Windows Server technologies, and virtualised environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) * Familiarity with IT service management tools, VDI, DLP, SAP (preferred), and monitoring systems * Professional certifications in Microsoft Azure and/or Office 365 are highly desirable * Ability to work onsite, with some travel as required Ready to make an impact in a challenging and rewarding IT role?
