IT Support Officer

Salary: £29,900 - £36,500 plus up to 33 days holiday and 10% company pension
Location: Based in Bedford with occasional travel to various sites required. A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle are essential.
Hybrid working model after 3 months.
About our client: They are a well-established business within the healthcare industry. We need a dedicated IT Support Officer to join their dynamic team as soon as possible. You will be based in Bedford but will travel to various sites to support projects and provide hands-on technical support.
Your Role: As an IT Support Officer, you will be the go-to person for resolving complex IT and hardware issues. Your natural problem-solving skills, technical mindset, and genuine interest in IT will shine as you:
Support end-user issues escalated from the service desk.
Identify and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and AVD.
Move and set up new IT hardware at clinic locations.
Test new technologies before implementation.
Manage and distribute mobile devices.
Engage in ad hoc project work aligned with their IMT strategy and digitalisation agenda.
Document processes and contribute to the IT knowledge base.
Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to provide innovative, technology-driven solutions.
Record, resolve, and manage complex IT or hardware issues, both remotely and on-site.
Provide hands-on technical support for various sites, including IT infrastructure and hardware.
Work collaboratively with 3rd party suppliers.
Support ad-hoc project work in line with the IT strategy.About You: We are looking for someone with proven 1st and 2nd line support experience and a strong hands-on technical understanding. You should have:
Previous 1st line experience with some exposure to 2nd
A proven track record of problem-solving and dealing with complex issues.
Knowledge of all MS Office programmes.
Knowledge of Azure (desired but not essential).
Strong communication skills.
