IT Support Engineer
Contract | €230-€270/day | Dublin | Hybrid
A client of mine is looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their team in Dublin. This role will involve providing Level 2 support, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with key IT projects in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide Level 2 support for Windows-based environments, including user account management and permissions in Active Directory.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, escalating to Level 3 when necessary.
Assist in the configuration and deployment of Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
Participate in IT projects, ensuring timely completion and successful delivery.
Document and resolve support tickets, ensuring accurate records.
Support end-users with mobile devices, peripherals, and general IT troubleshooting.
Collaborate with IT teams to improve support processes and systems.Requirements:
3+ years of experience in IT support, with a strong focus on Windows and Microsoft environments.
Proficiency in Active Directory, Office 365, and basic networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
Experience working with Microsoft Azure services is a plus.
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator or CompTIA A+ are highly desirable.
