A leading financial institution, based in Canary Wharf are looking to hire an IT Support Engineer, working as part of the London IT Team. This is an initial one year Fixed Term Contract. They need an Engineer with experience of basic networking, Desktop and Laptop Hardware Support, Windows 10, MS Office 2007/2010, Android & I 0/S and Printer/Fax Support. The Support Engineer will be required to deal with problems face-to-face with the user, software applications, trading floor and user interface. You must have previous experience of working in a high-pressured environment. Experience of Bloomberg would be beneficial but not essential.
A normal day at the office for the IT Support Engineer consists of attending to users' technical issues, installing new pcs/printers, configuring mobile devices, inventory maintenance, etc.
Ideally they are looking for someone that is able to start immediately. This will be office based, Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend as and when
