Job Description

Do you consider yourself to be detail oriented and a strong communicator? Do you have experience within an IT remit? Are you based in or around Caerphilly? We have an initially temporary Project Lead position available within Catnic. Catnic is a steel lintel manufacturer, part of the TATA group. This role is ideal for someone with exceptional IT skills and knowledge and is highly driven, organised and communicative. Role: Project Lead - Commercial Services Location: Catnic Ltd, Pontypandy Industrial Estate, Caerphilly CF83 3GL (Office based initially with the opportunity for hybrid working, X2 days office and X3 days remote) Rate: £30,851 per annum. £15.82ph Contract length: 12 months initially with the opportunity for a permanent position Shift Patterns: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri, standard office hours Start: ASAP pending the completion of a medical, which does include a drug and alcohol test Responsibilities: * Assisting the Commercial team on key cross functional projects * (In particular) Leading and supporting on a project to migrate multiple systems to a Google Cloud Platform * Supporting stakeholders in other areas with the migration of systems to Google Cloud Platform * Leading on activities to make the data migration and implementation a success * Working under minimal supervision once projects are agreed with management * Implementing standards that deliver data accuracy * Coordinating and managing the IT landscape for the business * Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement Essential requirements: * Experience and/or relevant qualification within an IT remit * Strong verbal and written communication skill * Confidence organising and leading on a migration project * Ability to liaise with stakeholders of all levels Desirable requirements: * Driving license and use of a car * Knowledge and experience of SAP and/or ERP systems * Previous experience moving a reporting landscape to a Google Cloud Platform Benefits: * Advice and editing on your current CV * Dedicated team throughout your journey within the role * Paid holiday * Exclusive online services including restaurant and retail discounts * Chance to receive £300* for referring a friend * Opportunity for progression into permanent roles * Competitive rates of pay Does this role sound interesting?
